Help me get The Beast to the Cannonball 2012 finish line
and enjoy the history of the Indian Model 101 Scout

As my plans become firm I will detail the expected costs of the adventure. For now I estimate that food, fuel, and lodging for the rider and two crew members will cost $405 per day. Assuming 4 days of preparation, 15 days of riding, and 5 days to return, I estimate expenses of $9,700. The entry fee is $1,500. Motorcycle service and preparation will run $2,500. Spares will run $1,000. Clothing and equipment could be $1,500. And, contingencies will run $1,000. So, the projected total is $17,200. Should I not participate in Cannonball 2012, all donations will be returned. Butch and Tim Baer are preserving and documenting the history of Indian Motorcycles through their publications and newsletters. Please see A Century of Motorcycling to view the full range of their exceptional products.

My favorite ACOM books are the hardbound volumes containing all the issues of "Indian News" published during the four years in which the world's best motocycle (IMHO) was produced, 1928-1931. These volumes usually cost $60.00. The "101 Years" set of four costs $200.00.

To support the Cannonball and The Beast, Butch and Tim have generousy made the four volume set available to me at their production cost so that I can offer it to my contributors.

If you will please donate $300.00 or more using the button below, the Baers and I will send you the "101 Years."

Alternatively, please contribute $100.00.  For each three $100.00 contributors we will randomly select one to receive the "101 Years."

Thank you for your help.
